Private Events · Phoenixville, Pennsylvania
A Waterfront Pavilion for the Evenings That Matter Most.
Chef-owned since 2009. One hundred forty seats beneath a retractable glass wall, opening onto the river — and only the river.
Why Here
The only true waterfront Italian private venue in the tri-county region — and a chef who has been on the line for every event we have hosted since 2009.
There are barns, ballrooms, and banquet halls within forty miles of Phoenixville. There is one Riverside Pavilion: a permanent waterfront venue with a retractable glass wall that opens the room to the Schuylkill in three seasons, a wood-fired hearth imported from Bologna, and a chef-owner — Marco Bellini — who has personally overseen more than 180 weddings and 2,400 private events on this site.
It is the difference between renting a room and choosing a kitchen. Menus are not selected from a catering binder; they are written for your guests, tasted in advance, and finished on the same marble counter where our four pasta makers roll nine shapes each morning. Service is led by an on-site event coordinator and two sommeliers. Nothing is farmed out, and nothing is average.
If you are planning an evening that will be remembered long after the last candle gutters — a rehearsal dinner, a milestone birthday, a corporate supper, the wedding itself — we invite you to consider the river.
The Pavilion, in Moments
Arrival to last dance, on the water.
A walk through a single evening at Taverna — the way the room receives your guests, the way the light falls, the way dinner is served, the way the river keeps watch.
Spaces & Capacity
Three event spaces. One address on the river.
Whether you are hosting 28 for a rehearsal dinner or 180 for a full buyout, the pavilion and the river adjust to the evening you are planning.

01
The Riverside Pavilion
Our signature venue. A purpose-built pavilion with a fully retractable glass wall system, imported wood-fired hearth, integrated audio and lighting, and direct access to the river deck. The only venue within forty miles with this glass-wall system. Ideal for weddings of 80 to 140, corporate dinners, and milestone celebrations.

02
The River Deck
A candlelit, partially covered deck set directly over the water — used on its own for intimate rehearsal dinners and engagement parties, or as the cocktail hour that precedes a Pavilion dinner. Slate tile, linen-draped high-tops, and the river three feet below the railing.

What Is Included
Every event is led by an on-site coordinator from first tasting to final toast. Service ratios are set at one server per twelve guests. Two sommeliers curate pairings from the same 240-label Italian list that holds our Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Wireless microphones, a four-zone audio system, and adjustable lighting are included; florals, photography, and transportation are coordinated through our preferred partners on request.
In Their Words
"We planned a 140-guest wedding reception in eleven weeks, which I would not recommend to anyone — and yet nothing fell through. Anna, our on-site coordinator, anticipated every question before we asked it. The food was the standout of the night; guests are still asking about the tortelli. Taverna is the rare venue where the kitchen, the service, and the room are all the same standard."
